Can tourists come alone?
Yes. Solo travelers are always welcome at Marine-J 80's CAFE. During our regular business hours, no reservation is required for one guest. You can relax with 1980s music, enjoy a drink, and experience a cozy local bar in Akasaka.
Can I pay by Visa?
Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard, as well as cash in Japanese yen. Please ask our staff before ordering if you have any questions about payment methods.
Is there a dress code?

Do I need to tip?
No. Tipping is not customary in Japan, so there is no need to leave a tip. Please note that a small table charge called an “otoshi” applies and includes a small appetizer.

How to Reach Us from Akasaka Station
We are about a 5-minute walk from Exit 7 of Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.
Enter through the brick-colored apartment building entrance just before the Lawson convenience store on Akasaka-dori Avenue, then walk down the stairs. A sign for the cafe is displayed inside.
If you cannot find the entrance, please call us from near the Akasaka 5-chome police box intersection.
